THE STORY

For the past five years, I have been traveling the world educating adolescent girls about sexual and reproductive health and rights. During those five years, I met hundreds of girls in over 15 countries and noticed an overarching pattern among them. So many girls feel the need to be perfect. So many girls feel they have less power than boys. So many girls feel they can’t be heard. So many girls feel their voice doesn’t matter. I wanted to do something to break those patterns, so I started She Inspires Project.

 

She Inspires Project provides a platform to amplify women's voices around the globe in order to inspire a generation of girls with a voice, a dream, and the confidence to grow into strong, bold, independent women.

Regardless of birthplace, socioeconomic status, race, gender, sex, sexual orientation, ability, or culture, every individual has the right to her own voice. She Inspires Project strives to make that happen.
